Le Lait |
After months of planning, hard work, sweat and tears I'm so proud to introduce here my baby clothing line Le Lait. The idea for this baby line came from the frustration of not being able to find matching accessories for my baby’s outfits. I would buy him the cutest onesies and then I would have to put a bib on him that didn’t match his outfit at all. I could never find matching bibs for him. I searched everywhere for a line that would carry matching accessories, but came back empty-handed every time. Once I started talking to other moms, I realized I wasn’t alone. And that’s how Le Lait was created. A baby clothes line that is completely gender neutral and you can mix and match all the patterns in the collection, so that your money can go a long way without sacrificing your baby’s fashionable style. The clothes comes in 3 sizes: 3M, 6M and 12M and 3 different styles onesies, rompers and sleeveless rompers in 5 different patterns. We also offer headbands and bib bandana to accessorize the looks. I hope you all love and enjoy this line that was created with so much love, for the elegant, sophisticated and stylish little ones. You can check out our whole line at www.lelait.storenvy.com

Several things happen when you sit nursing a baby for any great length of time.
- You begin wondering if you’d be able to walk to the kitchen and get the eggless cookie dough out of the fridge without breaking baby’s latch.
- You get an overwhelming urge to check and make sure your boob is still intact.
- You begin daydreaming about how you could improve the space in which you are nursing.
This, my friends, is how it got me searching for a quick and hassle free makeover for a nursery.
I just love these wall Triangle decal from UrbanWall they are trendy, stylish and easy to apply, you just peel and stick on the wall, and done!!!

Baby Beach Essentials |
Have you ever felt intimidated about bringing a baby to the beach? While it’s not always the easiest adventure, I wanted to share with you a few of our must pack items. We are preparing for our annual beach vacation, this time with a newborn in tow. Here are some tips to make life on the beach with a baby a little easier on everyone.
1- BABY POWDER. May seem strange but apparently using a sprinkle of baby powder after a day at the beach helps remove the sand – amazing! I can’t wait to try it.
2 - BEACH HATS. Always pack more than one as they often get wet or sandy.
3 - SUN GLASSES. Could they be any cuter? Nope. As cute as they are they are super functional. Does your little ones like sunglasses?
4 - COVERUP SWIM SUITS AND REGULAR SWIM SUIT. The coverup swim suits are much easier than trying to keep up with sunscreen on wiggly, wet babies. If your baby is old enough to play in a little water, pack two suits. But I'm also packing the regular ones just in case, and I have to admit they are way to cute not to take them to the beach.
5 - SWIM DIAPERS. Huggies make a swim diaper that gets pretty positive reviews. However, word on the street is that swim diapers aren’t really designed to hold in the #1 but are really for holding in #2… that being said I am going to bring both our swim diaper and a good supply of the regular diapers.
6 - BeaCH TOYS. At eleven and a half month our little man is on.the.move in a big way. He loves to be busy so I am going to be sure to bring plenty toys to entertain him.
7 - CHANGE OF CLOTHES. Or two or three. For when we go back home, so baby is not wet to sit in his car seat.
8 - BEACH TOWEL AND A BEACH BLANKET. We are bring a big blanket so baby can play on it while he is not playing in the water or if he just needs to take a nap.
9 - SUNSCREEN. Sunscreen for both mom and baby, avoid using a cheaper chemical based sunscreen on your body and just the safe stuff for baby. Babies often fall asleep against your chest and can have a bad reaction to sunscreen from your body. (Ask me how I know…)
10 - WET BAG. A necessity to keep the wet and dry separate. I love the patterns on this one, it is thick, durable and machine washable.
11 - WATERPROOF DIAPER BAG. full of the usual necessities. I am definitely not going to take my “daily” diaper bag to the beach for both sand and water reasons. I like that this one is fun as well as economical and roomy.
What else would you add to the list? Let me know if you have any questions about bringing baby to the beach!

5 Things Your Nursery Needs Now |
Buy These Things First
Unless you habitually run marathons on zero hours of sleep — taking breaks only to puree peas — it’s tough to be totally prepared for parenthood.
Luckily, prepping your nursery is one thing you can do ahead of time. Even if you’re planning on waiting to know your baby’s sex, there are a few gender-neutral items that you can and should grab now. Take a look:
1) Crib – Once you’ve finalized your budget, select your crib first and then build out your nursery from there. The style of your crib will determine the look and feel of the rest of the room. If you’re thinking about using a crib from another family member, be sure to double (and triple) check to make sure it matches up with current safety regulations.
2) Mobile- Aesthetically pleasing, and really, your newborn’s first true toy, a mobile ties your whole nursery together. If you’re crafty, this is a great DIY project to add a personal touch. If, like us, you need a little help, you can try the DIY balloon mobile ($47) kit from Etsy. You’ll get all the satisfaction of creating something on your own without having to make multiple trips to Michaels.
3) Changing Table- Serving as Diaper Duty HQ, your changing table is a place where you’ll need to store a good amount of stuff. (Think diapers, wipes, cream, and more diapers.) Keep that in mind when you’re thinking about how you want to organize.
4) Diaper Genie ® - This is a must-have. It doesn’t just lock in odor – it also protects against odor-causing bacteria. We think the Diaper Genie is unrivaled with its hands-free opening foot pedal and easy, mess-free refill film. Need we say more?
5) Rocking Chair - A necessity for feeding and nursing, a rocking chair is a mom’s new best friend. (Let’s be real. They’re so comfortable – you’d want one even if you weren’t expecting.) Go with what feels best for you. Whether you like a sturdier chair or, if you’re like us, the fluffiest one you can find, it’s imperative to be comfortable and safe when feeding your baby.
Since you’re going to spend a lot of time there after your baby’s arrival, we think you have carte blanche to make the nursery your new favorite room.

Baby Shower Basket DIY |
By Kaitlyn | Fringe of the Cro
I am so excited for my oldest friend’s baby shower this weekend and to share some of my favorite baby products with her. As much as I love fashion and decor, what we are all concerned about as mothers, is our babe’s health. My most important moment as a mom was breastfeeding. Having those low pumps and short feeds can be discouraging, hence the Mother’s Milk Tea
You will need:
6 Pack Bottle Case
Spray Paint
Ribbons
News Paper
Gift fillers of your choice
Step 1:
Discard the inside separators if needed & spray paint your bottle case in as many layers as needed. Let dry & do the same to the bottoms.
Step 2:
Wrap your various fillers in colorful ribbons for cute pops & to differentiate the different gifts. Wrap your case in a ribbon that coordinates. (You could also write a message on your box if you used chalk board spray paint!)
Step 3:
Arrange your gift box according to size and item. Try to keep each section balanced by repeating your theme in reverse of the opposite side. Here I went big, small, big.
Voila! Shower your expecting friends!

Six Perfect Pregnancy Snack |
During pregnancy, hunger can strike at any moment (with or without warning).
In fact, we’re guessing that by now, you’re familiar with this scenario: One minute you’re fine; the next minute, you’re sitting at your desk starting at an empty candy wrapper wondering how that got there.
The solution to combating sneaky wrappers is this: always be prepared. Stash healthy options in your purse, at your desk and in the car. To get you started, we put together a list of our favorite snacks for pregnancy. These options are packed with nutrition, so you don’t pack on extra pounds.
- LARABAR Cherry Pie – With only 3 ingredients — unsweetened cherries, dates and almonds — this tasty little bar packs in 4 grams of fiber, 5 grams of protein and ¼ cup of fruit! Did we mention it’s yummy, tart, and all-around deliciousness in a wrapper – with a cherry on top?!
- Trail Mix – Grab a Ziploc, throw in sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, walnuts, dried cranberries, dark chocolate and viola! High in Omega 3s, Vitamin E, Magnesium and Copper, this snack is the perfect combination to satisfy your sweet (and salty) tooth.
- Baby Carrots + Hummus – Crisp, high fiber carrots combined with protein-and-iron-packed hummus is a simple yet satisfying snack.
- Plain, Fat Free Greek Yogurt + Fresh Berries – Add your own berries (strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries) to avoid the added sugars of yogurts that contain fruit already. This take-anywhere snack is high in protein (18 grams) and filled with fiber and Vitamin C.
- Low-fat String Cheese + Almonds – Full of calcium, protein and healthy fats, this snack is always a crowd pleaser…in fact, you may want to pack extra.
- Popcorn – When prepared with just the right ingredients, popcorn is low in calories, heart-smart, and surprisingly chock-full of healthy nutrients. And, since it’s 100% whole grain, popcorn is also a great source of fiber -- you get 5 grams in a 4-cup portion. That's pretty darn impressive for a snack food.
