Shopping for baby's stroller can be almost as complicated as shopping for a car. There's a lot to consider: brake systems, cup holders, safety harnesses, comfort, weight, ease of folding, durability...not to mention the style factor. We’ve updated our must-have list to give you the scoop on the latest and greatest rides for baby.
Best Stroller for Techies: 4moms Origami
The 4moms Origami -- the first power-folding stroller ever -- has the highest wow factor we’ve seen. The way it collapses with a push of a button reminds us of a Transformer. A sensor tracks when baby’s in the seat, so you don’t have to worry about the stroller folding unexpectedly, and it has lights on the bottom for when you’re out at night. The LCD screen tells you how fast you’re pushing the stroller, how far you’ve walked and the temperature. Oh, and did we mention that you can charge your phone with this stroller too? $850, 4moms.com
Best Lightweight Stroller: Quinny Yezz
A stroller so light you can carry it on your back! Weighing about 11 pounds, the Quinny Yezz’s carry straps and easy-to-fold design makes it easy for you to tote around once baby’s big enough to be going in an out a lot (you’ll find yourself there before you know it!). $279,Quinny.com
Best Stroller for Active Parents: Chicco S3
Moms and dads who thrive on outdoor adventure will love the all-terrain Chicco S3 stroller. It has tons of extras that runners and hikers will especially appreciate, including a detachable backpack and water bottle holder, a hand brake, and puncture-resistant tires. Grab a compatible Chicco KeyFit or KeyFit car seat and you’ve just created a travel system ready for fitness and fun. $430, BabiesRUs.com
Most Versatile Stroller: UPPAbaby VISTA
As flexible as a yoga master, there isn’t a configuration the convertible UPPAbaby VISTA stroller system can’t do! Newborns ride in the (included and detachable) bassinet, infants are carried in an attachable UPPAbaby MESA seat (or with an adapter a variety of others including Graco, Chicco, and more), and toddlers can sit every which way but loose – frontwards, backwards, upright or lying flat. $730, UPPAbaby.com
Best Classic Stroller: Mamas and Papas Armadillo
Dubbed “the big little stroller”, moms are raving about the Armadillo stroller from Mamas and Papas, calling it the best all-around, check-off-every-box stroller. We can see why! First, you get to choose from awesome colors like Blue Fizz or Lemon Drop (shown), so you immediately feel cool. We also love the quick, one-handed close, a flip-flop friendly brake, great storage, and the extra-large hood for max weather and sun protection. $280, Us.MamasandPapas.com
Best Stroller Travel System: Summer Infant Fuze
The award winning Summer Infant Fuze is an innovative favorite designed for baby’s andparent’s comfort. It’s a light, convenient stroller packed with tons of parent-friendly features like a heat resistant adjustable handlebar and lots of storage spots for keys and cell phones. We love that the brake is pedicure-friendly (save the toes!). The accompanying Prodigy infant car seat is rated the easiest to install car seat on the market. If you’ve ever had your fingers destroyed installing a car seat, you’ll know how great that is! $500, SummerInfant.com
Best Stroller for City Moms: Britax B-Agile
This Britax B-Agile Stroller is perfect for grocery runs with baby -- you can fold it completely flat and lock it in place with one hand. Busy moms will love its lightweight design and ample storage space. $238, Amazon.com
Best Stroller for Trips to the Park: City Mini GT
The City Mini by Baby Jogger has always been a Bumpie favorite, and the next generation “GT” model is better than ever. Its forgiving, smooth suspension and all air tires make strolls along different terrains a breeze. If you’ll be outdoors a lot, it has plenty of ventilated sun protection. Plus, adjustable handle height and lockable front swivel wheels give you complete control on longer jaunts. It comes in five sporty colors, too (we love the sporty Bamboo shown). $350,Amazon.com
Best Stroller for Multiple Kids: Baby Trend Sit 'n Stand
The perfect find for moms with two kids! The tandem Baby Trend Sit 'N Stand Double Stroller holds two infant car seats in different arrangements (forward, backward, facing each other, or not). One (older) child can even stand in back while the other rides along. Even if you’ve only got one kid, you might want this stroller -- without one of the seats, it’s got tons of extra space for storage and is super portable. $190, BabiesRUs.com
Best High-End Stroller: Bugaboo Cameleon3
The queen bee of all high-end, urban strollers, the Bugaboo Cameleon3 has a trendy design and cool features like an adjustable handlebar and suspension system (great for sand or snow!), easy unfolding, and a variety of color combinations to choose from. The catch: It doesn’t come cheap. But the fact that it serves so many different functions -- newborn carriage, car-seat stroller, toddler stroller, beach walker and carry-cot -- might just make it worth the splurge. $979,Bugaboo.com
I am using the Mountain Buggy Nano Stroller, personally, I always prefer the lightweight stroller, It is very easy to fold and comes in a compact style. About UPPAbaby stroller, I used to buy this one but it seems not to adjust to a comfortable upright position.( in my opinion)
