Whimsical Circus Themed Baby Shower

We've seen the circus theme done so many ways, but never have we seen it pulled off in such an upscale and sophisticated way! This baby shower designed by Belinda Lui of Bookt Events for her own sister is whimsical and fun with just the right touch of glam. Belinda found inspiration in the gorgeous invitations by Sugar Press and carried that look and feel throughout the whole event. The decor was full of surprises, from creatively detailed floral arrangements by French Buckets in bright primary colors that included gilded birdcages, ceramic zoo animals and miniature flags, to an array of vibrant paper lanterns hanging outside. The outdoor area was transformed into a big top tent draped in royal blue and ivory white taffeta, bringing a huge visual impact.

Guests were treated to a delicious menu by 24 Carrots Catering, that included a gourmet tea sandwich station. For some extra yumminess, guests enjoyed circus inspired treats like truffled parmesan popcorn, mini funnel cakes and caramel apples. A carousel cake by Wonderland Bakery made for a beautiful addition to the dessert table.

Gender Reveal Party : Peach, Mint, and Gold

As the owner of 36th Street Events, Beth Walker loves throwing parties for any occasion. When she learned she was pregnant, a gender reveal provided a perfect opportunity to celebrate with a fun event! Beth and her team chose a clean, modern style in a pretty peach and mint palette with accents of white and gold. We love that this party is so festive and lovely without being over-the-top.

"The guests were asked to pin down their decision on the sex upon arriving, with little tassels attached to gold safety pins. We even celebrated with drinks to note the gender of choice, peach bellinis and mint juleps.

When it came to the reveal, I wanted to make sure it was both a surprise for the guests and my husband and I. The 36th Street team (other than myself) knew the sex of our baby and created confetti poppers with cake push pops. Painted gold and filled with the colored confetti, guests just had to push the handle to have the confetti pop out.

The reveal was the amazing. Surrounded by our loved ones, we found out we were having a little baby girl. To say I was surprised was an understatement! I was certain that I was having a boy, but life surprises you and we couldn't be happier!"

White, Gold and Black Little Prince baby Shower

This Fit for a Prince baby shower was sent to us by Amanda from Red Wagon Events and Daisy of Leo and Bella. The party was timely, as it happened just around the time that Prince George was born. The ladies used a harlequin design with a black and gold palette for a luxurious and modern vibe. We love the hand-cut rosettes that were placed on the table, which were reminiscent of Elizabethan collars. Sweet treats on the dessert table included a golden crown cake, shimmering prince cookie stacks, gold leaf macarons, golden crown cupcakes and cake pops. Well done! Lemon & Lavender Baby Shower

So it must be known that I adore the color YELLOW for parties. I love how it can brighten any event. The bright hues add a sweet and charming touch and can be combined easily with other colors.This color combination is something pretty special. It is distinctive, charming and just easy on the eyes. Here is the Lemon & Lavender Baby Shower dreamed up by Valerie Gimre of Charming Touch Parties,

PARTY DETAILS as told by Valerie…

The baby shower we planned and styled was a much bigger event held at a charming local reception hall. A large framed baby carriage and sweet fabric fringe bunting provided a precious and charming backdrop. A stunning 3 tiered cake was the feature of our sweets table. Fresh lemons, beautiful flowers and an assortment of gorgeous mini desserts were incorporated to create a charming and plentiful dessert table.

To fill our large space, we utilized appliqued onesies and more fabric fringe bunting to drape from mini balconies. It added such a sweet and custom touch.

As guests entered, they were greeted by a circular cocktail table with glasses of champagne or lemonade. This encouraged mingling before lunch was served and added to our celebratory vibe. Guests were invited to open seating and at each guest’s table setting was a boxed baby carriage favor cookie.

We positioned a candy and wishing book area between the two tables reserved for gifts. Guests were encouraged to write their own personal wishes and words of advice for the Mom-to-be. We love this concept, as this book can thereafter be a treasured keepsake.
